Good afternoon CES families! This is just a friendly reminder that students in grades 4 and 5 will take their GSA Writing test on Tuesday, March 12. Third grade students will take theirs on Wednesday, March 13. A restful night's sleep is very important the night before. They are going to do great and I'm excited for them to shine!

Good evening parents and guardians. This is a friendly reminder that Monday, February 19, 2024, is a Professional Learning Day for school employees. This means that students will not have classes. As with our last PL day in October, we encourage guardians to schedule conferences with teachers. If you would like to schedule a conference with a teacher, please contact them as soon as possible. Good evening- Communities In Schools is having a county wide resource day located at the Ravenswood Middle School gym before the Ripley vs Ravenswood basketball game tomorrow evening. Hello CES Families! I just wanted to let you know that 2024 is off to a great start at school! Thank you for sharing your children with us.

Good afternoon. This is Will Hosaflook, Superintendent of Jackson County Schools. On Tuesday, December 19, our internet service provider WVNET will be completing network maintenance on their server systems. It is very likely all governmental agencies and schools in West Virginia will not have internet access. However, all school phone systems should work if you need to contact the school. School personnel are aware of the internet outage and have adjusted their plans accordingly. Tuesday will be our last full day of school before Christmas break, while on Wednesday, December 20, students will be dismissed 3 hours early. Please have a wonderful Holiday Season.
