Jimmy Frashier Named WVASA Assistant Superintendent of the Year

Ripley, WV – Jackson County Schools is proud to announce that Jimmy Frashier, Assistant Superintendent, has been named the 2025 Assistant Superintendent of the Year by the West Virginia Association of School Administrators (WVASA).

Frashier was selected for his outstanding leadership, strategic vision, and unwavering dedication to student success. In just his third year in the role, he has overseen all personnel operations, enhanced instructional practices through data analysis, and strengthened professional development efforts across the district. His strong organizational skills, work ethic, and ability to build trust with staff have made a lasting impact on both school culture and student achievement.

“Mr. Frashier is a difference-maker,” said Superintendent Will Hosaflook. “His commitment to excellence and his support of both teachers and students are felt throughout our district. This recognition is well deserved.”

Frashier was honored at the WVASA Summer Conference on June 18, 2025, where leaders from across the state celebrated his contributions to public education.
