IN-PERSON LEARNING ANNOUNCEMENT

 

For Elementary and Middle School Students

            Students at the elementary and middle school level will return to in-person instruction on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.

For High School Students

            Since Jackson County is no longer RED on the map published by the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Services (WVDHHR), students at the high school level WILL RETURN to in-person instruction on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.

If there is a change of the WVDHHR map changing the status of in-person instruction at the high school level, an announcement will be made through our calling system, website, and social media outlets.

COVID-19 Dashboard

            A dashboard detailing the active COVID-19 cases within schools is available on the Jackson County Schools website at www.boe.jack.k12.wv.us  The dashboard is updated as soon as possible after COVID-19 cases are reported to the school system.

Meal Program

            Meals are available for pick-up at the nearest school from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. for virtual school students. Please call the school and request a meal so we can ensure an adequate number of meals are prepared each day.
