The current forecast calls for one-half to three inches of snow accumulating between noon and 10:00 p.m. We are monitoring the situation closely. While most primary roads are clear, several secondary roads remain hazardous, and freezing conditions persist. School personnel will report to their work locations on a two-hour delay. Students should complete their assignments using Instructional Packet #4 or by logging in to the Canvas Learning Management System.

We have been closely monitoring the HVAC system throughout the day. Currently, the building temperature is nearing normal levels, just a few degrees shy of our target.
We will continue to monitor the system this evening and conduct a final temperature check at 5:45 a.m. If the system fails overnight, we will send a notification first thing in the morning.

We are deeply saddened to share that Crystal Johnston, a beloved member of the Ravenswood Grade School staff, passed away.
Crystal was a dedicated educator who truly loved her students and was deeply committed to supporting children and families. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication made a lasting impact on our school and community. She will be greatly missed by students, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with her family, friends, and the entire Jackson County School community during this difficult time.
